The greatest investment one can make is to invest in the life of another
Basketball is another after school activity that encourages physical fitness and teamwork, and provides further opportunity for Pro-Vision’s core value of developing mentoring relationships.
SELF-IMPROVEMENT
Basketball provides opportunity for physical health. As one of the most popular sports in the world, it is superb for building endurance, improving balance and coordination, and building muscle. It also encourages participants to believe in themselves, offers lessons on sportsmanship whether winning or losing, and focuses on skills such as concentration and self-discipline. Pro-Vision expects 100% from each student both academically and athletically.
TEAM BUILDING
Former NFL Coach Tony Dungy said, “When you represent something that is larger than yourself and means something to others, it changes your perspective. It helps you see directly and in a positive way that what you do can have a positive impact on somebody else’s life.” The basketball program teaches commitment to teammates and the importance of teamwork. Important lessons of leadership and shared responsibility are taught and fostered by the entire Pro-Vision, Inc basketball coaching staff.
