Introducing the ‘Dream Court’: Nancy Lieberman Charities and The United States Tennis Association Gift Pro-Vision Academy Brand New Court

It’s time to get your game face on! Pro-Vision is so humbled to announce that Nancy Lieberman Charities have gifted Pro-Vision Academy a brand new ‘Dream Court!’ Doubling as a basketball and tennis court, the Dream Court is just the latest endeavor to provide Pro-Vision students with fun and safe spaces to grow as athletes and health-conscious individuals.

The United States Tennis Association, Pro-Vision board member Jeff Van Gundy, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lanier partnered with Nancy Lieberman Charities to make this Dream Court come true. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held February 2nd, 2021 and was by a select amount of Pro-Vision Academy students and staff members, Jeff Van Gundy, and Nancy Lieberman herself. 

Ms. Lieberman, a former professional basketball player and coach in the WNBA, impressed Pro-Vision students with her moves on the court. Students stood by in awe as Ms. Lieberman took to the half court line and drained an impressive one-armed shot – backwards.

Following the opening of the Planet Fitness weight room in January, the Dream Court marks another investment in providing Pro-Vision students with an array of tools to assist them in leading healthy lives. Additionally, the Dream Court will serve as a public space for the Sunnyside residents to gather together and play as a community.
